Nessa Temporada de Supernatural, Sam voltou das jaulas do inferno, e enquanto nós não sabemos como ele saiu, esta claro que ele não voltou o mesmo. No ultimo episódio, “The Third Man”, terminou com Dean confrontando seu irmão sobre as mudanças ele está passando desde seu retorno. No entanto, Sam afirma que ainda era ele mesmo.
Mas é ele? O Sam que conhecíamos não iria dormir com prostitutas ou deixar as crianças serem torturadas para tirar informações. Então, o que é responsável por essas mudanças? Eu tenho três teorias principais.
Teoria #1: Sam não tem alma
Em " The Third Man", Balthazar falou muito sobre o valor das almas, que pode ter sido uma grande pista. Talvez para sair do inferno, Sam teve que dar sua alma e agora ele está andando por aí sem uma bússola moral. Isso certamente explica sua insensibilidade com as mulheres e crianças.Se isso é verdade, a sexta temporada de Supernatural pode ser sobre a alma de Sam. Talvez seja a pessoa com quem Samuel estava falando no telefone sobre coletar vários monstros.
Teoria #2: Sam ainda é Lúcifer
Eu não tenho certeza se Sam é realmente Lucifer ou se há um pouco de Lúcifer ainda nele, mas de qualquer forma, Supernatural ainda tem que explicar o que aconteceu com Lúcifer após Sam vencê-lo graças à magia do Impala. Talvez Sam estava dizendo a verdade quando disse a Dean que está OK e que a sua experiência no inferno era diferente de seu irmão. Talvez passar um tempo no Inferno e um ano de caça com a sua família acabou alterando o Sam atual um pouco, de modo que agora ele está mais focado na missão de matar monstros.Embora eu aceite que isso é possível, eu duvido muito. Quando Sam voltou dos mortos no final da 2 ª temporada, ele era essencialmente a mesma pessoa, e os demônios tentaram convencer Dean que Sam voltou diferente.
Naquela época, eu acredito que Sam voltou muito bem e foi só os demônios tentando entrar na cabeça de Dean. Desta vez, porém, Sam é definitivamente diferente. Ele não é o mesmo gigante adorável que nós amamos, e descobrir exatamente o que é diferente sobre ele será a primeira pista importante sobre o grande mistério da temporada 6.
